Minutes of Gold, The Beginning

In the summer of 1992, Carol was beginning a small home business doing what she loved to do, repairing and dressing antiques dolls. While dressing an antique doll from the 1920's, a "Dream Baby", the thought occurred to her that there may be a need for tiny gowns and bonnets designed for stillborn infants. A conversation with local nurses confirmed the need was very important.  Carol went to work on a design that would work and in October she delivered 6 Fetal Demise Layettes to Woodland Memorial Hospital in Woodland, Ca.  Within a year she was asked to supply 2 more hospitals in the Sacramento area.
