Minutes of Gold volunteers have been making infant bereavement garments for babies born too soon and donating these items to hospitals since 1992. The nurses have the challenge of presenting these tiny babies to their grieving families. Without the gifts that the volunteers provide, there would be nothing suitable, available for this purpose. A viewing is important for most families and appropriate clothing provides comfort and dignity. CONTACT US: firstname.lastname@example.org
Northern Westchester Hospital of Mt. Kisco, New York, has an "OLIVER'S CLOSET", Infant Bereavement program. We have provided special memorial layettes donated in memory of OLIVER COHLAN HUGHES, born sleeping on January 25, 2013. Appropriate clothing for infants born too soon brings comfort to their unprepared families that have only 'minutes' to say good-bye to their tiny family member. Thanks to Oliver's Grandmother and others for organizing this valuable service.
