An email came in to us in early December from a couple in Southern California that had experienced an early loss of triplets in August of this year.
They were devastated but so grateful for our help in providing the special Infant Bereavement clothing for their 3 little girls, they wanted to give us something in memory of their loss and offered 4 Pfaff industrial grade sewing machines, We received them on December 21st and named each one for the triplets, Samantha, Olivia and Ava. The 4th was named for the parents, Russell/Kathleen. What a wonderful expression of the appreciation for what we do! One more "road sign" that we are doing God's work.
Minutes of Gold volunteers have been making infant bereavement garments for babies born too soon and donating these items to hospitals since 1992. The nurses have the challenge of presenting these tiny babies to their grieving families. Without the gifts that the volunteers provide, there would be nothing suitable, available for this purpose.
